The Knoch Wrestling Boosters Association's mission is to promote and develop the sport of wrestling for all ages and gender students in the Knoch School District. We focus on folkstyle wrestling, and strive to create successful wrestlers and respected community members by developing young athletes both on and off the mat. Our main objectives are to provide financial support, coaching, and resources to the wrestling program.

It’s said that while basketball or football players can go professional in the NBA or NFL respectively, wrestlers go professional in life. The primary thing wrestling teaches better than most sports is life lessons.
Wrestling teaches mental and physical toughness; how to be comfortable being uncomfortable; how to work and train as a team but stand on your own and face your challenges; how to control your emotions when you just had a big win and your teammate just had a big loss; but most of all, wrestling teaches work ethic.
There is no hiding it, wrestling is a demanding and difficult sport. The only way to be a competitive wrestler is to work hard at it - even the naturally gifted wrestlers have to work for it. What that means is that when wrestling is over, the wrestler takes that work ethic into the real world and applies it to all aspects of their lives helping them achieve success in whatever they do.

We accomplish these goals by providing a financial support association group, competent coaching staff and a safe training environment to provide team and individual training opportunities within the community.
